One of the luvvie brigade gets a good kicking in the Daily Telegraph comments section for his earnest espousal of a Tobin Tax on financial transactions. Quite amusing – perhaps people are getting tired of the grating moralising of Bono & co.
(Tim Worstall has written previously on why the Tobin Tax is not the panacea that Bill Nighy thinks it is. The Adam Smith Institute has also produced a paper on the subject which gives added background to the debate.)
